Mortgage Banker

    Karla began her career in mortgage finance in 1989, working part time as an assistant to a high volume Loan Officer at a major mortgage company in Los Angeles, CA. Her full time job was Supervisor and Trainer in Customer Service at General Telephone Company (GTE). She retired from GTE in March 1992. She moved to Atlanta, GA, in June 1992, and began working for the Resolution Trust Corporation-Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (RTC-FDIC) in downtown Atlanta. During her time at RTC-FDIC, she processed mortgage loans part time. Processing mortgage loans and her job at RTC-FDIC sparked her further interest to become a full time Mortgage Banker. She left RTC-FDIC and worked at a couple mortgage companies before she found a home at First Service Mortgage (FSM) in May 1996.

Working at FSM has allowed Karla to experience all aspects of getting a loan to the closing table, from processing and originating FHA, VA, Conventional, Subprime, Investor and Commercial loans, to training, managing and underwriting.

Karla’s attention to detail and her customer service experience, along with hands-on knowledge of the mortgage industry, PROVIDES A CLEAR, SMOOTH AND COMFORTABLE EXPERIENCE for the mortgage applicant. Karla’s motto is “ANYONE CAN GET A LOAN TO BUY A HOME, ASK ME HOW!”
